Description

The inventions provides nucleic acid probes, primers and methods for detecting fungi that cause disease in humans and animals, as well as spoilage of food and beverages. One invention claimed in a patent below relates to the design and composition of an assay to determine infection due to Mycobacterium tuberculosis by detecting the M. tuberculosis insertion element IS6110 in any clinical specimen.
