Description

This method enables non-invasive and invasive detection of vagus nerve stimulator activity. Vagus nerve stimulator (VNS) is widely used for treatment of epilepsy, other indications are very promising (details in attached file). Vagus nerve plays crucial role in the organism. Stimulation of vagus nerve can provide many benefits to patients with different diseases, but also many dangerous and negative side effects. Detection of VNS activity will therefore have many important clinical and scientific applications.
