Description

A posterior lamellar keratoplasty graft deployment device has been designed and is currently being tested. The device is designed to facilitate the deployment of the donor lamellar corneal tissue graft into the anterior chamber of the recipient’s eye and aids in positioning of the donor graft against the recipient’s cornea in the repeatable manner that minimizes trauma to the endothelial cells of the graft and results in improved long-term transplant survival.
