Description
In this system, a low frequency radiation force is exerted point-by-point on the object by a confocal ultrasound transducer. The amplitude of the resulting acoustic field is used to produce a two-dimensional display of the object's cross sections. This system can produce a high resolution image from an object based on its low frequency (kHz) characteristics.
