Establishment of Secretin Receptor-Bearing Cell Lines

Reference #:

1999-026

Inventors/Contributors

Laurence J. Miller, M.D.

Description

We have established Chinese hamster ovary cell lines expressing the secretin receptor. This permits the screening for receptor ligands and agonists. The CHO-SecR provides an appropriate system with which to study secretin-stimulated phosphorylation of its receptor in an intact cell. It therefore permits the screening for receptor ligands and agonists.
