Description
This cell line is a stably transfected Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell line. It is transfected with the mammalian expression construct pAG3APP695wt. This construct expresses the 695 amino acid isoform of the human amyloid beta protein precursor (APP695). The level of expression is increased to a degree that makes detection of ABeta by various methodolgies very easy.
