Description
A synergistic integration of two novel algorithmic procedures into a software program for accurate, rapid 3D localization and reconstruction of implanted radioactive seeds from x-ray fluoroscopic images and then using the reconstructed seeds for computation of the distributed dose throughout the implant organ using ultrasound imaging to obtain the 3D anatomy.
