Description

Studies have shown that treatment of purified human eosinophils with a combination of lidocaine and dexamethasone results in the synergistic inhibition of cytokine-mediated eosinophil survival, revealing site of action.This method can replace chronic glucocorticoid treatment, which is used in eosinophil-related diseases such as asthma.
