Description

This technology uses gene-based strategies to: (i) protect the transplant (organ, tissue, cells) from infection and damage by infectious pathogens from the patient; and (ii) protect the patient from infectious pathogens derived from the transplant (organ, tissue, cells). The technology would be useful as therapies that would be preventative as well as therapeutic.
