Mayo Clinic researchers have identified the use of biological, pharmacological or saccharide intervention, genetic modification or selection, for antagonist or modulation of Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) or other TLRs for the increase and/or maintenance of bone density, osteoporosis, Paget's disease, or any disease or condition in which bone loss is a factor.
