Description
Numerous pathological conditions including Alzheimer's Disease (AD) are associated with the deposition of proteins in a deposit called amyloid. These amyloid deposits share a similar quaternary macromolecular structure. We have identified novel single chain variable fragments (scFv) that bind amyloid as described as well as methods for their delivery and treatment of various disease characterized by amyloid deposition.
