Description
A training program to teach health-care professionals how to effectively treat patients who use tobacco. The staff of the Mayo Clinic Nicotine Dependence Center (NDC) works with the workshop organizer to develop a curriculum that fits the needs of the participants. Workshops can range in duration from 1/2 day to 5 days, depending on the depth of knowledge and skills requested. Faculty is typically a NDC physician and one or two counselors.
